All returning Varsity and Junior Varsity players were divided into groups for the summer workouts and points were accumulated by these groups for attending various workouts, passing league, and other football related activities ... The culmination of the summer workouts happened Friday, July 26th in the first "War Games" ... Medals were awarded for the top three athletes in all testing events (bench press, squats, power cleans, 40-yard dash, dot drill, jump rope, dips, pull-ups, eating contest, obstacle course relay, shuttle run relay, sumo wrestling, tug-of-war, and sled drive... Team champions received a meal in their honor and a group photo that will be displayed outside the football locker room this season.
