"Right now I've got an offer from Marshall. I hear a lot from N.C. State still too. Western Michigan is another school that's picked up lately too. Marshall is my leader right now though with the offer."
Asked what would play a major role in making his decision Cann responded, "I want to go to a place where I can play ball, it has to have a good atmosphere, and I want to be surrounded by good people and a good coaching staff."
So far in his senior season Cann's Landrum squad stands at 4-4 on the year. He's passed for 896 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions.
Cann also told us what he felt were his strengths and weaknesses. "My arm strength is probably my best asset but I'm very smart in the pocket as a passer too. Right now I'd say the area I need the most work is my speed."
The size, strong arm, and assertiveness in the pocket helps to make Cann one of the state's top quarterbacks. Division 1 schools will continue to recruit him but the Thundering Herd of Marshall will soon play host to Cann in a few weeks.
"Yeah we're going up to Marshall on October 28th. We're taking the whole family up there too. It should help out a lot as far as making my decision goes."
