North Carolina senior running back Ronnie McGill (Clover High) saw his collegiate career end on a sour note with an injury in the first half. WR Brooks Foster (Boiling Springs High)
McGill however isn't the only Palmetto State standout shining for the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill. Former Boiling Springs High star wide receiver Brooks Foster snagged a 39 yard touchdown from Dailey in the 1st quarter to put UNC up 7 to 3. Foster finished the day with 4 catches for 71 yards and the touchdown. Foster amassed 38 catches for Only currently a sophmore you can expect the Tar Heels to look for Foster more next season under new head coach Butch Davis who is to be announced formally on Monday.

WR Jomar Wright (Byrnes High)
Wright came back from an injury riddled sophmore season and has bounced back nicely for the Blue Devils. Against the Tar Heels Wright caught 3 passes for 73 yards. For the year the former Byrnes Rebel product caught 40 passes for 561 yards and 2 touchdowns. With his senior season ahead of him and young Thaddeus Lewis emerging as a prolific passer you can expect those numbers to rise for Wright next season.

DB John Talley (Byrnes High)
Coming out of Byrnes not many could have expected what Talley has done on the collegiate level. Prior to the season he was voted an All-American by various publications and Talley has continued to shine in his final season for the Blue Devils. Two weeks ago Talley set the school record for interceptions in a career with 17. That mark also leaves him tied for second all-time in the ACC behind former UNC star Dre Bly. Although the Blue Devils went winless in his senior season expect to hear his name called during the NFL draft as one of the top cornerbacks in the country.
