Ra'Sean Dickey Keys Upset Of Duke

Last season Ra'Sean Dickey started to put it together and after a slow start in his junior season it seems as if he's finding his groove again as he scored 21 on Wednesday in an upset of the powerful Duke Blue Devils. Inside read more.

Ra'Sean Dickey has seen his game mature by leaps and bounds under the tutelage of Georgia Tech head coach Paul Hewitt. That couldn't have been more evident than Wednesday night against the Duke Blue Devils as the former Marlboro County High stud scored a season high 21 points for the Yellow Jackets. The Yellow Jackets powered by Dickey, Anthony Morrow, and Javaris Crittendon upset the Yellow Jackets 74-67 in Atlanta.

Dickey, who has struggled somewhat in the early part of this season has righted the ship apparently as he has scored in double digits during his last six games. The lack of production early on can be attributed to the Yellow Jackets trying to infuse their team with two of the country's top freshmen in Crittendon and Thaddeus Young. On the season Dickey is averaging 9.1 ppg, 6.2 rpg, and 1.4 bpg. Expect those numbers to probably increase as the season rolls on as the 6'9 250 pound South Carolina native appears geared up for a strong finish heading into the heart of ACC conference play.
