Greenville's Sirrine Stadium got a much-needed face-lift and they opened the revamped digs in style. Greenville High School sophomore quarterback Jordan Sorrells went 19 of 27 for 272 yards and 4 TDs as Greenville handed Woodmont a 42-7 defeat.
Kendrick Lynch (JR) -Dorman (Spartanburg, SC)
Lost in the hype over Demetrius Summers setting the state rushing mark against Dorman was the fact that Dorman junior Kendrick Lynch racked up over 280 yards of total offense.Lynch snagged 149 yards out of the sky and left 134 yards in a cloud of dust.
Justin Fulbright (SR)/ Bradley Robinson (SR)-Byrnes (Duncan, SC) Justin Fulbright eased the minds of Byrnes' fans who were worried about replacing All-Star QB Anthony Johnson. Fulbright tossed four TDs en route to a 41-22 victory over Aiken. Bradley Robinson made the most of his 5 catches going for 121 yards and three TDs.
Clark Brandt (JR)-ChristChurch (Greenville, SC)
Clark Brandt ran the ball only ten times in ChristChurch's 17-13 victory over the AshevilleSchool. It was his 12 yards-per-carry that ran laps around a school whose head coach is named Dale Earnhardt.
