2007 SC Shrine Bowl Coaches Announced

An upstate head coach has the honor of leading the 2007 Shrine Bowl team for the state of South Carolina. Come inside for a look at the coaching staffs for both teams.

Each year the Shrine Bowl is held to benefit the Greenville (SC) Unit Shriners Hospital for Children and 21 other Shriners Hospitals across the nation. Last year's game receipts and temple contributions raised $1.1 million. Since the first Shrine Bowl in 1937, over $51 million has been raised for Shriners Hospitals.

The North Carolina coaching staff was announced last month and now the South Carolina staff has just been announced and Blue Ridge High School head coach David Farnham is set to lead the 2007 South Carolina Sandlappers.

Below are the other coaches announced for the South Carolina and North Carolina squads.
