Mikki Moore Notches Career High 24 In Victory

Mikki Moore is making the most of his opportunities in New Jersey. A career night on Monday and a chance to help his team to the playoffs it can't get any better for the former Blacksburg High School star.

It's been a great year for career journeyman Mikki Moore. The former Blacksburg High school star who went on to play at Nebraska has finally found a home and a coach that truly believes in him in New Jersey. Moore, who's played for 7 teams in his NBA career is enjoying a career season as he's become a starter for the Nets as they try to make a run at the playoffs.

Monday night saw Moore score a career high 24 points in a 113-102 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. After riding the pine for most of his career Moore has been given the chance to start by NJ head coach Lawrence Frank and the former Blacksburg star has responded nicely.

Moore also chipped in with 6 rebounds, 3 steals, an assist, and a blocked shot in the victory over Memphis. The 7 footer was 10-19 from the field and 4-6 from the free throw line on the night.
