With Presbyterian already making their presence known by presenting King with an offer, a number of schools are sure to follow suit. "I've been getting letters from South Carolina, Clemson, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest."
The 5-9, 165 pound King is already off and running on a busy off-season plan. "I just got back from the Nike Camp a few weeks ago," King said. "They had a bunch of different stations to work on speed and technique, and at the end we got to do one on ones. It was fun; I learned a lot of new stuff. I'm going to another one on the 12th of this month."
King believes now that he is on the initial radar of some of the top programs in Southeast, and that he may reel in a few additional offers with a strong showing this summer on the camp circuit. "I'll be going to the South Carolina camp, the Clemson camp, and a couple of one day camps."
As a junior last season, Yari recorded 60 tackles, 4 interceptions, and 1 touchdown for the Yellow Jackets. Not only does he want to see those numbers increase next season, he also has a few other goals in mind. "I want to get better at my technique, work harder to get more interceptions, and just try my hardest to take us back to the state championship. Hopefully we can get there."
