A vast array of schools have been showing significant interest in Aynor QB Will Chandler. Still awaiting his first offer Chandler talks about what he's looking for in a school and his intentions to turn that interest into offers this coming season. Come inside for this FREE recruiting update with one of the top signal callers in the state.

Aynor High School quarterback Will Chandler has been putting together quite an impressive list of schools that have been expressing early interest in him. SCPrepNation.com caught up with the talented signal caller for a quick update.

Chandler doesn't have any official offers as of yet, but is expecting them to come rolling in at anytime. "I've been getting a few letters from Duke, Maryland, Stanford, and Clemson," Chandler said. "A few coaches have stopped by to see me; Presbyterian, Citadel, and Newberry," he added.

Although Will may be completely wide open in terms of his recruitment, he knows what factors will play a big role in his decision. "Academics will be first," Will said. "After that I'm looking for whatever program is going to give me the best shot to play. I want to go wherever I can make an impact the quickest."

Chandler wants to participate in some of the upcoming combines this offseason. But, he is uncertain of which camps/combine that he'll be attending at this point. Those plans could change once he determines which schools are most serious about bringing him in.

While Chandler has been patiently watching his recruitment unfold, he has also been focusing his attention on this upcoming season. Chandler has set high expectations for his senior season. "I'm looking to win a few games, and hopefully make it to the playoffs," Chandler said. "I'm kind of hoping to turn some things around. The team looks for me to be the leader, especially since I've been on varsity longer than most of them; they kind of look to me for guidance."
