Week 2 Offensive
Player of the Week

It's hard to pass on Andre Ellington when he helps them beat the Fort Dorchester Patriots and DE Robert Quinn, but Blythewood QB Richard Mounce had a performance that could not be denied. Mounce just passed for 286 yards and 6 touchdowns. Yes that's correct 6 touchdowns. He also ran for 80 yards too. Keep an eye on Mounce because he's one of the state's best quarterbacks and deserves more attention from colleges than he's been getting.

The following players were on the short list of players we considered and make our honorable mention for Week 2:
Berkeley RB Andre Ellington
Irmo RB Mustafa Greene
Greenville WR/QB Chris Wallace
Fort Dorchester QB Galen Bennett
Hanahan WR Branden Ford
Southside QB Darius Sims

Week 2
Team of the Week

No arguments on this one as the Greenville Red Raiders get the nod. Knocking off the defending AAAA Division 1 state champions Gaffney provided the Red Raiders with arguably their biggest win ever. Congrats to coach Jim Sosebee and his team.
