Q&A: Pinewood Prep PG Kenneth Manigault

PG Kenneth Manigault is one of the top hoops stars in South Carolina for the 2009 class. A D1 prospect who's helped lead Pinewood Prep to back to back state titles, Manigault updates us on how things have been shaking for him in the recruiting world and talks about his improvements to his game. KF: What schools are you hearing from currently?
KM: Elon, Charleston Southern, Presbyterian, Stanford, Clemson, and South Carolina

KF: Do you have a list of favorites at this point you'd like to share?
KM: Elon, Presbyterian, and South Carolina.

KF: Any offers yet Kenneth?
KM: None yet.

KF: What have you been doing this offseason to improve your game?
KM: Shooting a lot and lifting weights just about everyday.

KF: The last time we talked you said you were working hard on your jumpshot. How is it coming along?

KM: My jumpshot is coming along really well I think. It should show this season.

KF: Have any schools contacted you about making any unofficial visits?
KM: Elon and Presbyterian so far.

KF: Have you taken any visits thus far? If so, where and how'd you like it?
KM: I went to Elon last month for Junior day and it was a pretty nice campus. I really liked the coaches and the team. I am going to Presbyterian November 3rd for Junior day and I'm looking forward to that visit too.

KF: Pinewood has won back to back state titles, the goal is the same once again for the team we're sure but what are your personal goals for this upcoming season?
KM: My personal goals for this year are to play the best I can and help my team to have another successful year.

KF: Are you still 6'3 170 pounds or have you grown some more since we last spoke?
KM: I'm 6'4 185 pounds now.

KF: Who's are the toughest players you've ever had to go up against?
KM: That's a good question. I'd say Damier Pitts, Chris Wright, and Edwin Rios.
