Southside Hoops Duo Visits A-10 School

Southside SF/PG Quinton Thomas (pictured) and SG Robbie Dreher are two of the top prospects in the 2009 class. The pair has made a handful of visits this offseason and recently visited an A-10 conference program as their only guests during Midnight Madness. Come inside and find out the new program courting the Southside 2009 duo.

The Southside Tigers return all but one key player from last year's team that made it to the AA state championship game before falling. College basketball programs have taken notice of the young talent head coach Louie Golden and assistant B.J. Jackson are assembling at the Greenville school. With numerous head and assistant coaches coming through to visit and take a look at Southside's players in open gym settings it's no wonder they are favored to get back to Columbia again this season.

Two of their most promising players, SF/PG Quinton Thomas and SG Robbie Dreher have been on the road quite a bit this offseason. After AAU play the pair has made a visit to USC, SC State, Clemson, and other schools. Their latest visit involved a new school which has recently come into the mix. The Charlotte 49ers out of the Atlantic-10 conference invited the pair up for their Midnight Madness festivities. Always a great time to host recruits the 49ers made a statement as the Southside duo were the only recruits there to take in the action and be the focal point of their recruiting efforts.

Robbie Dreher had this to say about it, "Yeah it was real nice. We had a good time and got to check things out up there. They have some really nice facilities."

While the two friends continue to prepare for this coming season's start they will try and make some other visits throughout the season around their own hoops schedule. will have more for you on Quinton Thomas and Robbie Dreher so stay tuned right here for the very best coverage of SC high school basketball and football recruiting!
