2 More SEC Schools After LB Jerel Miller

Northwestern LB Jerel Miller is a tackling machine! Last year he notched over 140+ tackles and this year he's leading a resurgent Northwestern program who has reeled off 10 straight victories. They will be a force to reckon with in the AAAA playoffs and some new prominent programs from the ACC and SEC have started to recruit Miller.

The Northwestern Trojans have enjoyed a resurgent season this year. Finding good balance on both sides of the ball they have marched out to an impressive 10-1 record. 2009 LB Jerel Miller is the Trojans primary threat on defense and college programs have been making it a point to stay in regular contact with the tackling machine.

During our last update with Miller he said in-state programs South Carolina and Clemson were his primary favorites but since then some new schools have emerged in a big way.

"Yes sir I've been getting letters every week from Alabama. They are after me very hard it seems. Florida and North Carolina are also sending me tons of mail each week. Alabama is one of my favorites along with South Carolina and Clemson now."

SCPrepNation.com was in the house two weeks ago as Miller and his Trojans took on South Pointe which is lead by fellow 2009 prospects QB/S Stephon Gilmore and RB Devin Wherry. Miller looked strong in the victory for his team and showed his playmaking abilities all night long in a hard fought 41-18 victory as they pulled away late. In fact the Trojans have reeled off 10 straight victories after opening the season with a loss against Charlotte Country Day.

Keep it locked right here with SCPrepNation.com as we will bring you the very latest on Jerel Miller as he helps lead the Trojans on a deep run into the AAAA playoffs.
