The 2008 standout has lined up all over the field for the Red Raiders along with his normal position as a wide receiver as a QB, RB, CB, PR, and KR. His talents have gained the interest of a number of programs despite his injuries. "I like North Carolina State, Appalachian State, Newberry, Marshall, and Colorado." Wallace told us. In fact two of those schools have offered Wallace a scholarship. "Yes I have offers from Newberry and Appalachian State."
Some of his finest moments this season came against rivals J.L. Mann and then #1 ranked Gaffney. Wallace put up huge numbers against both and lead his team to victories. He talked about those big victories and had this to say, "It was all about doing what we where supposed to do and we new that we would win if we executed."
Wallace continues to shine for his team as they head into the second round of the playoffs on Friday versus Blue Ridge. Last week they knocked A.C. Flora out in the first round with a convincing 33-8 win. His goals remain quite simple during his senior season, "I just want to win a state championship and get into a good school, that's all I want."
