Bulldogs set to Appeal to SCHSL

The Marlboro County Bulldogs have formally appealed the probation handed down last month by the SCSHL

The SCHSL has granted the Marlboro County Bulldogs a hearing to appeal the probation handed down last month as a result of the events following the Northwestern game

Marlboro County is scheduled to appear on November 4 at 10:00 AM in Columbia, SC to present their case the SCHSL.  A reversal in the probation would allow the Bulldogs to appear in the 2002 playoffs.

It is safe to assume that the SCHSL will make a decision on that day as the final regular season games are November 7 and teams would begin preparation for the playoffs on November 8. Brackets and match ups for Class 4A teams are announced on the 8th.
