DeAndre Richburg: In-State Programs Chasing

While defensive end DeAndre Richburg was spending his fall chasing down opponents on the football field, several in-state programs spent theirs chasing after him. With 2 offers already, Richburg could soon be on the verge of landing another. Find out inside which in-state school was the most recent to offer the 6-3, 220 pound DE, and which program will more than likely follow suit…

After picking up a scholarship offer from Presbyterian College, Berkeley's DeAndre Richburg has been drawing interest from several other in-state programs. One school that has been making a heavy push for the 6-3, 220 defensive end is Newberry College. In fact, they were the latest school to offer the Berkeley High standout.

With two scholarship offers to his name, DeAndre informed SCPrepNation.com that he could possibly be on the brink of another. "Right now I have an official visit set up with Charleston Southern the second weekend in January," Richburg said. "They haven't offered yet, but they said that they were very interested in me. I should definitely find out something on my official visit."

With Presbyterian being the first school to offer Richburg a scholarship, he has been able to establish a solid relationship with them. However, he is still opened to what others have to say… "I will probably make my decision after my official visit to Charleston Southern," Richburg said. "Right now I'm kind of pushing towards Presbyterian, and then Charleston Southern. But, I'll know for sure after my official visit(s). That's pretty much going to tell everything."

Stay tuned with SCPrepNation.com for the very latest as things continue to heat up for Berkeley High's DE DeAndre Richburg.
