Brevard was so good in fact that he graded out at higher than 85% every game this past season. He had 20 pancakes and 14 knockdowns for the Trojans. The schools showing him the most interest on a regular basis early on are Duke and The Citadel. Brevard likes both of those programs but also likes in-state powerhouses South Carolina and Clemson as well.
When asked about his most memorable game this past season Brevard replied, "My best game was against Irmo. I had 4 pancakes and 2 knockdowns. It was memorable because the offense ran to my side a great deal of the night." Brevard also says his toughest opponent this year was Byrnes DE Everett Dawkins.
As of now Brevard says he is probably better at pass protection than run blocking but he'll work hard this offseason to improve all aspects of his game on the field. He also shared with us his goals for next year when he'll be a senior. "My goal is to help my team win a state championship and try earn some college scholarships."
Brevard plays on both sides of the ball as a lineman and both of the programs pursuing the most heavily are recruiting him as a defensive lineman. He says that getting a good education will be his most important factor when trying to choose a college.
