Georgia was way too much for Hawaii in the Sugar Bowl and their defense was hellacious on QB Colt Brennan and the Warriors all night. Two guys from SC, DE Marcus Howard (Hanahan HS) and DB Prince Miller (Byrnes HS) put their stamp on the win for the Bulldogs.
Former Hanahan star Marcus Howard
had the best game of his career in his last outing as the Georgia
Bulldogs destroyed Hawaii
41-10 in the Sugar Bowl on Tuesday night. Howard's statline you ask? 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 which he recovered for a touchdown, and a tipped pass that lead to an interception for a teammate. While the game was never in doubt neither was Howard's status as the game's MVP as the night continued on.
While Marcus Howard went nuts and took home MVP honors fellow South Carolinian DB Prince Miller also got in on the action in Georgia's Sugar Bowl blowout win with an interception. Miller snagged an errant Colt Brennan pass in the 2nd quarter on the 42 yard line with the score standing 17-3 in favor of the Bulldogs. The interception would lead to a Sean Bailey touchdown as the Bulldogs would go on to walk away easily with the convincing victory.
