2010 Byrnes RB Marcus Lattimore Has 2nd Offer

We knew it was only a matter of time. 2010 Byrnes RB Marcus Lattimore just got his second scholarship offer this week and he filled us in on the very latest regarding his recruitment and outlook for the near future.

Regarded as the top prospect in the Palmetto State for the 2010 class expect Lattimore to continue to add scholarship offers over the summer and throughout the rest of his career. Just who was his latest offer from? "I just got offered by South Carolina." Already holding an offer from Clemson we asked Lattimore was there a frontrunner at this point in his recruitment? "I'm interested in both of them but I'm really undecided right now until I get more offers."

Lattimore helped guide the Rebels back to Columbia and a AAAA Division 1 state championship this year and he reflected on the journey for the Rebels. "It felt great and the 2007 season was for the 2006 seniors. We promised them we would get back to Columbia for them to win it all and we did."

In regards to next season Lattimore said, "My goals are to gain more yards, more touchdowns, and help my team win a state and national championship." The Rebels normally have a busy summer with their weightlifting program until passing tourneys start up with which they'll participate in many. Lattimore says he hasn't lined up any unofficial visits but if given the opportunity he'd be interested in taking some visits to see prospective schools.
