Stratford RB Asheton Jordan Commits!

Stratford High star, Asheton Jordan, recently brought his recruitment to an end by committing to one of the most prestigious programs in the South. Come inside to see who landed the 6-1, 205 pound WR/RB from Goose Creek, SC.

"I just wanted to give you a call to let you know that I committed to The Citadel," Asheton Jordan told SCPrepNation.com.

After taking an official visit to the campus and seeing everything they had to offer, Jordan decided that he was ready to make his pledge firm with the prestigious military program. "I really enjoyed my visit with them," Jordan said. "They are a real good school academically. I really feel like I'd be taken care of after college."

For Jordan, The Citadel is only a hop, skip and a jump from where he played high school ball. With that being said, Jordan should see a few familiar faces in the crowd whenever he takes the field at The Citadel. "My parents will be able to come out and watch me play," Jordan said. "That was one of the biggest things that I really wanted. I'm really going to enjoy that."

Jordan could possibly be the steal of the class for Coach Higgins and Company. He should provide the Bulldogs with immediate help on the field. As a senior in high school, Jordan went over the 1000 yard rushing mark, and had over 500 yards receiving for Stratford. He was an All-LowCountry selection, and was selected to play in the North-South All-Star Game. He intends on majoring in Business Management.
