WR/DB Alshaun Jeffrey and ATH David Sims will undoubtedly form one of the most dangerous duos in the Palmetto State next fall. SCPrepNation.com recently had the privilege of speaking with ATH David Sims, to see how things have been progressing for him on the recruiting front. Read further to find out what the gifted athlete had to say.
"It's been going really good so far," Sims said in regards to his recruitment. "I have two offers right now; one from Alabama, and one from South Carolina. Wake Forest, Notre Dame, and Tennessee have been showing interest in me as well."
Sources have indicated that Sims could soon be the recipient of an early offer from the Fighting Irish. With that being said, what is it exactly, that they see in the 6-0, 208 pound athlete? "They have been saying that they like my explosiveness," Sims said. "They have also been saying that they like my abilities to make big plays."
Last fall Sims threw for 1,492 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also ran for 912 yards and 11 touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball he had 5 picks, and returned three of them for touchdowns.
Although Sims appears to be quite flattered with his early offers on the table from Alabama and South Carolina, he appears to be a long way from making a decision. "Right now I don't have a favorite," Sims said. "I'm really trying to wait it out and see who all is going to offer me."
SCPrepNation.com will keep you posted on the latest concerning ATH David Sims as his recruitment continues to heat up.
