Jerel Miller Talks Visits & Names New Leader

LB Jerel Miller will be making some junior day visits here soon and inside he talks about the schools that are recruiting him the hardest. One SEC has leaped over another as his early leader as things are about to get hectic for the young man we've nicknamed "The Tackling Machine."

Northwestern LB Jerel Miller projects as one of the top 2009 linebackers in the state and his numbers over the past 2 seasons prove that he's a beast on the field. The last time we spoke an in-state program was his early leader but lately other schools have really stepped up their pursuit and interest which has changed things slightly.

"My top school has changed since the last time we talked. It's Tennessee with South Carolina right behind them. Tennessee has been showing me a lot of interest. I plan on going to their junior day. I will be making the trip down to Columbia this Saturday for their junior day as well."

It will be interesting to see just how things shake out for Miller as he awaits his first scholarship offer. Things change quickly in the recruiting world and that early favorite could change again when he receives his first offer. Stay tuned as we'll have an update with Jerel and many of the other top South Carolina high school prospects making the visit to Columbia for junior day.
