David Sims Picks Up 3rd SEC Offer

ATH David Sims picked up another scholarship offer from the SEC. He also will be making a visit to a ACC program this weekend. Is another offer eminent? Come inside to find out the latest program to offer the Calhoun County star.

Calhoun County's David Sims just picked up a written scholarship offer from Tennessee. An offer from the Volunteers brings his total to three from the SEC.

With three early offers hailing from the SEC, Calhoun County High head coach Walter Wilson has a feeling that it's only a matter of time before things blow up for the gifted star. "Business has been picking up for Sims," Coach Wilson said. "North Carolina has been looking at him very hard. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered him real soon. LSU and Georgia have been asking for film as well. They are very interested in him also."

Sims will be on the road this weekend en route to Winston-Salem to check out Wake Forest's Junior Day. Wake Forest is another program that has been keeping close tabs on the Palmetto State star. With that being said, Coach Wilson is under the impression that Sims won't come back home empty-handed. "I got a feeling before we get back home on Saturday, Wake Forest will offer him too."
