Curtis Dunbar currently stands at 6-3, 195 pounds, possessing the size that college coaches covet in a receiver. He also put up the type of numbers on the gridiron last year that speaks volumes to college coaches. "I had over 1000 yards receiving last fall," the talented wide out stated. "Wherever the ball was thrown, I was there to go up and get it. I'm a go-getter." Dunbar also added 12 touchdowns to go along with his 1000 yards.
Dunbar reports a 4.45 in the forty-yard dash. Though several athletes would be at ease with this type of speed, Dunbar refuses to settle. "I would really like to improve on my speed," Dunbar said. "I feel like I can get faster." Along with his speed, Dunbar also mentioned that he would like to improve on his route running.
Dunbar intends to dedicate his time and effort this spring/summer to improve on the skills he previously mentioned. He is also planning to make a few trips to various camps over the summer. He is willing to do whatever it takes to turn the interest he's been receiving into scholarship offers.
