Bruce told SCPrepNation.com that his visit to Clemson was his very first time seeing the campus up close, and that it is certainly not his last. The 5-11, 185 pound WR/FS has been pondering over the idea of attending one of their football camps this summer. He is truly hoping that his 4.4 speed and his unique skill set will be convincing enough to land a scholarship offer from Bowden and Company... "Clemson is definitely a place where I can see myself going," Ellington said. "It's really nice up there. I would also get to play on the same team with my cousin Dre again."
Last fall Ellington took part in an offense that rarely threw the ball downfield. However, he did manage to make the best of every opportunity whenever the ball was thrown his way. Last fall the sophomore wideout average a little over 17 yards a catch. He was also a major threat on special teams as a KR/PR for the Stags.
We will continue to bring you more updates on the 2010 prospect from Berkeley High as he continues to prepare for the upcoming camp circuit. Keep it locked…
