Brandon Thomas Q&A
Dorman High School
OL 6'4 285 pounds
Class of 2009

What schools are you hearing currently?
Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson.

What offers do you have?
Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson.

Do you have a list of your favorites at this point that you'd like to share?
Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson.

Do you have a clear leader at this point?
No but I am really liking North Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson.

Do you know what your stats were last season?
No I don't. I did win the best offensive lineman at Dorman High School last year though.

What do you feel are your strengths right now?
I work hard and try and use my quickness to my advantage. I'm not that strong right now because of my injury last year to my wrist, as i had to play in a cast the whole season. But I had my surgery and going to get my cast off soon. Other than that I feel that I can improve a lot more when I get to college.

What parts of your game do you want to improve on the most this offseason?
My foot work, my quickness, and my explosion off the ball. Also my strength.

Have you set up any visits yet?
Yes, I have already visited North Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson.

What factors are going to be the most important for you when it comes time to make a decision?
Well I really look at all the factors you can look for in looking for a college. Location is very important to me, that and the atmosphere at that college.

What team was the toughest you played against last year?
Byrnes, we lost to them two times, in the regular season and the second round in the playoffs. Both times we had the chance to win those but we just came up short.

Who was the toughest player you faced last year?
Everett Dawkins really. He was alright. He wasn't like scary tough to play. I only played him in one out of the two games we played against them. I only played against him in the playoff game, not the regular season game. In the regular season game he played on the opposite side.

What game are you looking forward to the most next season? Why?
Well the first game of the regular season, we play our cross town rivals Spartanburg Vikings. We really play them two times this season but I dont know why. Anyways I still look forward to playing them cause this game we prove to the county of Spartanburg and the state of South Carolina that Dorman is going to be a team to beat later in the season going into the playoffs.
