Hoops Hall Showcase Looks To Provide Exposure

Former Southside High star Eric Williams and his Hoops Hall organization held an exposure camp this past weekend in Greenville. Williams, a professional basketball player, is working hard to help provide more exposure for South Carolina high school hoops prospects to garner scholarship offers. Inside a look at some of the action and drills from the event.

Some of you may remember former Southside High standout Eric Williams. Williams was an electric scoring guard with the Tigers and later took his talents on to Appalachian State and Guilford College. Williams is the younger brother of former Southside High and UNC Tar Heel Shammond Williams who played 9 years in the NBA and is currently playing professionally in Spain. Eric has played overseas professionally for 3 years but is currently playing in the PBL for the Jacksonville Slammers.

Eric came home with a vision to try and help provide more exposure to some of the Palmetto State's high school basketball prospects so that more colleges would be more aware of their talents and possibly offer scholarship opportunities. Through his Hoops Hall organization Williams is well on his way to doing just that. With a number of colleges and coaches in the gymnasium Williams and staff worked hard to highlight some players that may have flown under the radar.

Williams says he and his Hoops Hall organization will hold more camps and exposure events in the near future and SCPrepNation.com will help announce these events for prospective attendees. Below are some images from the Showcase last weekend at the old Southside High School gymnasium.
