Washington Enjoying The Process

Quinton Washington is quickly emerging into one of the most highly-coveted prospects in country for the ‘09 recruiting class. Quite a few big-named programs have already tossed their names into the hat for his services, and several more are sure to follow. SCPrepNation.com recently bumped into the big man, to get his early take on the recruiting process thus far.

"Everything has been going great," Washington said. "The process has just been unbelievable for me so far. It's just an amazing feeling."

As you can see, it's no secret that Washington has been thoroughly enjoying the recruiting process early on. As he should be, especially after picking up two more offers from a couple of big-named programs. "I just recently picked up two more scholarship offers from Michigan and Miami," Washington said. "Michigan offered me first, and then Miami offered me around last week or so."

With the addition of his two latest offers, Washington now has a total of eight schools on his board. Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina State, Clemson, Maryland, and Alabama are the others.

Although Washington is holding a very imposing list of offers early on, the 6-4, 320 pound offensive lineman had some more intriguing news that he wanted to share with us. "I just recently got accepted to play in the UnderArmour All-American Game about three weeks ago," Washington said with the sound of excitement in his voice. "I was really surprised when I found out about it. It's a big honor for me. I feel truly blessed."

Quinton hasn't eliminated any schools from his list yet, and does not intend on doing so anytime soon. For now he will continue to savor every moment of the recruiting process, and will move forward when the time is right.
