Jordan Mosely Profile

2008 Signee Update
OL Jordan Mosely
Spring Valley High School
Signed with Tusculum

KF: Jordan looking back on your career at Spring Valley what are your favorite memories?
JM: Starting my first varsity game versus Fairfield Central High School, Winning the Region V AAAA region title twice, reaching the lower state championship game vs. Richland Northeast High School, recording a career high 11 knockdowns in my senior year vs. Irmo High School, and grading out at a career high of 88% my senior year vs. North Augusta High School.

KF: What will you miss the most about Spring Valley?
JM: My Head Coaches: Jimmy Noonan and Quay Farr. My Offensive Line Coach, Mike Armstrong. My teammates, Friday morning breakfast, and finally the "Walk of Champions" as I like to call it. It's the walk down the steps into our stadium during home games.

KF: Have you already started on a workout/weightlifting program to get ready for Tusculum? If so, how is it different than what you've done previously at Spring Valley?
JM: Yes I have. It consists of a few new exercises that I haven't done before, and it consists of more sets which makes the workout session longer. Also at the end of every workout I have to do 100 crunches.

KF: What are you looking forward to the most when you get to college?
JM: Just playing on a different level; new teammates (some who I'm already familiar with), the off-season workouts, and playing on Saturdays.

JM: Mass Media, which for me will branch off into sports broadcasting. I want to go into the sports anchor field after I'm finished with football.

KF:What advice do you have for underclassmen who are hoping to go to college like yourself and play college football?
JM: TAKE THE SAT/ACT AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, MAKE GOOD GRADES EVERY YEAR YOU'RE IN HIGH SCHOOL, play your hardest, go to a few camps/combines to get your name in there, and finally don't make recruiting a headache for yourself, and finally never lie about your awards or stats in high school.

KF: Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions Jordan. I want to wish you continued success on the next level and rest assured that we'll be keeping close tabs on your progress at Tusculum. Make everyone at Spring Valley and South Carolina as a whole proud along with your family.
JM: Thank you Mr. Fair. I have one more thing I'd like to say. SCPrepNation.com for me was a godsend. They didn't just blow me off just because I wasn't a Daquan Bowers or a Kenneth Page (no disrespect to those guys, they're elite football players in their own right), but if you ask for their help in getting exposure and you have the potential, I guarantee you the staff at SCPrepNation.com will do their best to get you where it is that you want and need to be in the world of high school football recruiting. Period.
