A Look Back At 2006....Running Backs

We take a look back at two of the top running back prospects out of the 2006 class from the Palmetto State. Some of you may have forgotten that we had quite a few big timers who are playing big time football...SCPrepNation.com catches you up on just where and how the 2006 backs are doing. Do you remember the 2006 running back pictured here? He's playing for the Buckeyes now.

Ronnie Tyler went to Hargrave Military Academy upon completion of his high school eligibility at Wagener Salley. Tyler played more wide receiver as a senior at Wagener Salley. Originally a commit to the University of Georgia he changed things up and decided to sign a letter of intent with the University of Maryland. Last season Ronnie redshirted and will be embarking on his freshman season for the Terrapins next season. He also makes the switch to wide receiver from running back on the college level as well.

Aram Olson was a bruising lead blocker at fullback for Irmo. At 6'2 240 poundshe was one of the top rated fullbacks in the nation he eventually decided to sign with Ohio State University. Aram redshirted his first season and hopes to hit the field this season as a sophomore in order to help the Buckeyes vaunted rushing attack.
