Throwing for 2500 yards and 25 touchdowns as a freshman is almost unheard of..unless you're 2011 QB Robert Smith of Woodland High School. Already in the 2011 class there are a few prospects who absolutely gets the adrenaline flowing when you watch them play. Now it's hard to fathom a 14 or 15 year old playing on the varsity level and dominating more experienced, physically advanced upperclassmen.
One of the state's brightest youngsters from the 2011 class is Woodland High School's Robert Smith. As a true freshman last year the youngster tore it up in big fashion. As we stated before Smith had 2500+ yards passing for 25 touchdowns and also ran for 700+ yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground. The work he put in as a freshman is already starting to earn him some letters from schools all across the nation. He has already visited Georgia and Clemson unofficially.
