SCPrepNation.com touched bases with Marlboro County wide receiver, Kinsman Thomas to get the latest on his recruitment…
"It's been going pretty good," the 3-star wideout told SCPrepNation.com. "I have about six offers right now. They are from South Carolina, North Carolina State, Illinois, Buffalo, Vanderbilt, and Maryland."
When asked if he had any favorites, Thomas gave us his top two and what he liked about each one. "I like South Carolina and North Carolina State," the rising senior said without hesitation.
South Carolina: "I have a strong opportunity to go in and start early. They also have good academics. They have a strong graduation rate too."
North Carolina State: "They want me to come in and play receiver for them too. North Carolina State is also good with education. They're real strong academically."
Kinsman was in attendance at the UA/Scout.com Combine that was held in Charlotte, NC this past May, where he was named to the All-Combine Team (First-Team Offense). After making his presence felt in the Tarheel state, Thomas will be looking to do the same thing in the Palmetto State this fall. "I would like to lead the state in receiving yards and touchdowns this year," Thomas said. "I'd also like to help my team win state this year. Those are two of my biggest goals."
Could a decision be near for Thomas? Stay tuned in with SCPrepNation.com as we continue to bring you the very latest concerning the Marlboro County wideout.
Note: Kinsman Thomas hauled in 27 catches for 591 yards and 8 touchdowns for Marlboro County last fall…
