Paul Bogensberger Looking For A Chance…

Paul Bogensberger may not be one of the top names on the recruiting boards; but however, he's certainly hoping for college coaches to take notice of him this fall… Come inside for another FREE article courtesy of SCPrepNation.com, and learn more about the LowCountry prospect from Pinewood Preparatory School.

After seeing a limited amount of action on the playing field last fall, Pinewood Prep's, Paul Bogensberger, has been going beyond the call of duty in an effort to elevate his game to the next level. The 6-0, 235 pound DL/LB has been working extensively in the weight room during the off-season, and has been attending various camps/combines with one goal in mind; to land a scholarship offer… The '09 prospect shares with us, two of his most recent camp experiences…

"I went to the PC Camp a few days ago," Paul said. "I really felt like I learned a whole lot of new things while I was there. The coaches taught me a lot of different moves that I'll be able to use on the field against my opponents. Overall I had a really great time out there."

"After finishing up at PC, I attended a 1-day camp at Charleston Southern on the very next day," Paul continued. "My legs were a little exhausted from the PC Camp, but I thought I did pretty well overall. I felt like I did well during the one-on-ones. I used a lot of the moves that I learned at the PC Camp. I really enjoyed this camp also."

Although Paul appeared quite fond of the two Big South programs aforementioned, he is certainly not ruling out any other programs at this time. He is quite interested in hearing what other schools have to say and/or possibly offer him. After all, he's just merely looking for someone to give him a fair shot to compete on the next level. "I can't really put it in words what it would be like to earn a scholarship," Paul said. "It would mean the world to me. It would be awesome to get some type of money/scholarship for college. You'd probably see me dancing (laughing)."

We will have more on Bogensberger as he continues his quest towards a successful senior season at Pinewood Prep, so stay tuned for much more.

Paul currently has a 3.0 GPA in the classroom and an 18 on the ACT
