Anthony Carden Profile

The Under Armour/ combine series was completed a few months ago but after assessing the times and measurements of the running backs who competed one of the most underrated was Lexington High RB/FB Anthony Carden. Carden gave a strong performance against some of the best in the southeast to show that he indeed was worthy of more attention from college coaches as well.

Carden posted a 4.69 second time in the 40 yard dash was actually quite strong considering that the surface that day was deemed to be very slow with plenty of morning dew to escalate the issue. The 2009 prospect also turned in a very impressive 4.21 second time in the short shuttle.

He didn't just bring the speed factor to the combine either as he displayed his explosiveness with a 9 foot 10 inch broad jump which was among the leaders at the event.

Stay tuned to as we will have an interview with the Lexington High School standout to talk about his recruitment and senior season.
