The threat of tropical storms has many athletic directors and football coaches scrambling to move games up to Thursday night for the safety of their players and fans and will be on the road to take in Northwestern vs Spartanburg at Gibbs Stadium on the campus of Wofford University.

Tonight's game will feature a number of talented prospects who are being heavily recruited by D1 and D2 schools. For the Vikings the offense is being lead by 2010 QB Cornelius Jones who holds an offer from the University of Michigan. Defensively their big playmaker is LB Andre Whitmire. Under the new head coach Freddie Brown the Vikings are looking to hold off the powerful Trojans of Northwestern who have one of the most talented senior classes in the state.

Northwestern's offense is lead by RB/ATH Jarrett Neely who put up some eye boggling numbers as a junior last season rushing for 800+ yards and receiving for 800+ yards as well out of the backfield and slot. Neely is hearing from a number of elite programs in the southeast and his versatility is second to none in the state.

On the perimeter Northwestern is loaded as well with WR Cordarrelle Patterson and WR LaBris Adams. The duo is among the state's best 1-2 punches at wideout and both put up some great numbers a year ago as juniors.

The defense yields a nice 1-2 punch up front on the line lead by DE's Dwaney Mills and Hakeem Adams. Both prospects are getting heavy interest as well. Mills and Adams have good size and bring a nice blend of strength and speed off the edges. Supporting them is LB Jerel Miller who is also hearing from schools all over the southeast region. Miller is effective against the run and has improved his ability to drop back in coverage as well. With over 400+ tackles over the last two seasons it's easy to see why he's so heavily regarded. We've nicknamed him "The Tackling Machine" for his talents. will bring you analysis, video, and photos from the game tonight so stay tuned. Nobody outworks!
