When we first met Roland Johnson back in June, the talented junior DE prospect was receiving very little interest from colleges. Well, a lot has changed since then, as the 6-0, 230 pound stud has been drawing interest from a number of programs from far and wide.
"He's been getting a bunch of letters lately," Ryan Johnson said of his younger brother Roland. "He's been getting stuff from Michigan State, Stanford, Penn State, Georgia Tech, and a lot of other schools. Those are just some of the ones that I can think of right now."
According to Ryan, the 2010 prospect has simply been on a tear this season… "He's been playing lights out," Johnson said. "He's had a couple of good games already this season. He had about 11 tackles against Lugoff-Elgin, and about 15 against West Florence. So he's been doing well."
We expect things to continue picking up for the Camden High star, so be sure to stay tuned in with SCPrepNation.com for the very latest regarding this fast rising prospect from the Palmetto State.
