We've seen a trend in recent weeks. Taking a play out of the Miami Dolphins playbook there are a number of teams who are putting their running backs in at quarterback to throw teams off. One team that seems to have mastered the move would be Dorman who utilizes Walt Canty in short yardage situations with regularity but Greenwood High is getting in on the action as well using D.J. Swearinger.
The 2009 Tennessee Volunteer commit sparked his team to a 19-12 victory over Westside High School Friday and scored on a 19 yard touchdown run out of the shotgun set. Swearinger and the Eagles move their record to 2-5 on the season with the win over the Rams who now fall to 2-6.
Stay tuned for an in-depth update with Swearinger next week so keep it dialed in right here with SCPrepNation.com.
