SCPrepNation.com ran into Beaufort High's defensive end, Duane Chisolm, on this past Friday Night. And despite going down with a season ending injury, the disruptive pass rusher appeared to be in good spirits when we spoke to him one-on-one.
"Everything has been going pretty good," Chisolm told SCPrepNation.com. "It's not quite as bad as I thought. It hurts to watch from the sideline, but I'm doing fine though. It could always be worse."
Chisolm, the 6-3, 256 pound stud from out of the LowCountry region of South Carolina is currently holding offers from Alabama, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina State, and several others. At one point in his recruitment, it seemed like Chisolm's decision was going to ultimately come down to a couple of in-state programs, South Carolina and Clemson. However, a couple of other schools have come into play with the talented defensive lineman.
"NC State has been coming on real strong lately," Chisolm said. "I am actually thinking about taking an official visit with them. I'm not sure when though. Alabama has been coming on hard also."
From the sound of things, Chisolm appears to be pretty open-minded about things. So with that being said, where does he go from here? "I'm not sure what's going to happen from here, especially now that I have this injury," Chisolm said. "My decision is going to be based upon whoever shows me the most love; whoever wants me the most. So, we'll just have to see what happens."
