SCPrepNation.com recently caught up with Lugoff-Elgin High OL Jared Singleton to see how things have been going as of late. And according to the big man, things have been moving along just fine this fall… "Everything has been going real good," Singleton told SCPrepNation.com. "Just basically trying to play hard, and trying to do whatever I can to help my team win games."
Although Singleton has been primarily focusing on his senior season this fall, the '09 standout informed us that recruiting was certainly not too far in the back of his mind. In fact, he has been mapping out his plans for the next few weeks, and will be paying a visit to quite a few programs "I'm getting ready to start taking a few unofficial visits," Singleton said. "I'll be going to the Citadel, Wofford, and Clemson over the next few weeks. Those are the schools that have been expressing the most interest in me as a prospect."
Singleton was recently selected to participate in the 2008 Shrine Bowl this December, which will allow him to showcase his talents amongst some of the finest athletes from both North and South Carolina. With that being said, we certainly expect things to continue picking up on the recruiting front for the big OL.
Who will be the next program to offer Singleton? Stay with tuned with SCPrepNation.com to find out…
Note: Singleton did 41 reps of 185 pounds at the Shrine Bowl Combine!!!
