November will be a busy month for Boiling Springs QB Dylan Thompson. The 2010 signal caller has a number of visits lined up and his latest trip saw him head up to Raleigh to check out the North Carolina State Wolfpack. Thompson talked at length about his visit with SCPrepNation.com.
"My visit to NC State went great. I went with Coach Clark, Logan Stewart , and Reggie Davis (2010 Chapman High RB standout). We're all real close and had a great time."
"We got to Raleigh about 11:30 and then we hung out with Coach McCollum, Coach Clark's good friend for a few minutes. Then I talked with my recruiting coach, Coach Bridge and offensive coordinator Coach Bible. We talked about my film that they have been looking at and they said they were very impressed. They said they liked how I led the team and made every type of throw. They are also really high on Reggie and Logan too. They want us to come up again so we can hang out more."
The Wolpack hosted rivals Wake Forest and pulled off a minor upset of the Demon Deacons which also was a positive aspect for Thompson and crew apparently.
"The game was also great, with State beating Wake Forest, which is a big win for their program. I loved the facilities and coaching staff and had a great time. I will definitely be going back up there soon. Coach Bridge said he would be coming by the school in December to see us in December and January too. It was just a great visit overall."
Next up on the slate for Thompson is a visit to Charlottesville to check out the Virginia Cavaliers next weekend.
