Denmark-Olar Wideout Has DI Interest

WR Treaver Workman had a solid performance on the gridiron this fall for Denmark-Olar High School. And as a result, the 6-0, 170 pound wideout has been attracting attention from a host of DI programs. Come inside with SCPrepNation.com for a quick update on the 2008 North-South selection from out of Denmark, SC.

Meet Treaver Workman a 6-0, 170 pound WR/DB from Denmark-Olar High School. Treaver just finished up his final season on the field with the Vikings this fall, and has now directed his attention towards finding a home for next fall. "Treaver had a really good year for us this season," Denmark-Olar Head Coach, Andrae Rice, said of the talented wideout. "Treaver had about 63 catches for about 789 yards this season, and about 8 or 9 touchdowns."

Like Rice, a few other coaches from the state also felt like the Denmark-Olar star had a solid performance on the field this fall, including the members of the coaching staff who will be partaking in the 2008 North-South Game this December. "Yeah, Treaver made the North-South Team this year," Coach Rice told SCPrepNation.com. "Hopefully that'll give him few avenues recruiting-wise. Right now he's getting attention from several small DI schools. He's mainly been getting looks from the schools in the MEAC like South Carolina, Howard; schools like that. He's going to be a steal for someone."
