Denzel Myers emerged onto the scene last fall after picking of 11 passes from his cornerback position. However on this past season, the 6-0, 175 pound athlete made his presence known primarily on the offensive side of the ball, accounting for nearly 2000 yards of total offense. SCPrepNation.com recently made a trip out to North Charleston High School to check on one of 2010's finest in ATH Denzel Myers. Cougar's Head Football Coach, Jimmy Brown, gave us the very latest on the gifted athlete. "Denzel has been doing really well," Coach Brown informed SCPrepNation.com. "He's been getting a lot of letters from several different schools. I have letters in here from Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Western Kentucky, and Michigan State. Honestly, I can't remember half of the schools that have been sending him stuff (laughing)."

"Notre Dame and Michigan State have requested to see film on Denzel," Brown continued. "Those two schools along with Western Kentucky have been coming on real strong. In fact, Notre Dame has invited him up on numerous occasions for a game of two."

Denzel played a vital role in the Cougars Offense on this past season, where he accumulated nearly 2000 yards of total offense. Whether he lined up at QB or WR, Myers simply got the job done. And not to mention, Myers also intercepted 5 or so passes from his cornerback position this fall…
