Lake City High DE Commits!

Defensive end Donquille McElveen, from out of Lake City High just recently ended his recruitment by verbally pledging to join an in-state program. Come inside and find out where the 6-5, 225 pound DE will be taking his game next fall.

SCPrepNation.com has learned that defensive end, Donquille McElveen, from out of Lake City High school has made a decision on where he wants to spend the next 4-5 years of his life. The 6-5, 225 pound DE who runs a 4.54 in the forty yard dash will be staying in the Palmetto State next fall, and will be suiting up for the Newberry Indians.

McElveen is without question a steal for Coach Zak Willis and the Newberry Coaching Staff. Last fall, the big guy recorded 62 tackles, 23 TFL, and 5 sacks on the defensive side of the ball for the Panthers. He was also selected as the Class-AAA Lower State Lineman of the Year at the South Carolina Coaches Association Banquet.

Congratulations to the Newberry Coaching Staff on a great pick-up for their 2009 Recruiting Class!
