2011 DL Has Pac-10 Interest

This young DL prospect had his coming out party on the gridiron last fall for the Daniel Lions. And as a result, he has been receiving letters/attention from a couple of BCS programs from out west. Inside, SCPrepNation.com brings you a quick update on the talented 2011 prospect from out of Daniel High School.

This young man is continuously making big strides, and could be well on his way to becoming one of the better talents from out of the 2011 recruiting class. We're talking about Daniel High School defensive lineman DeShawn Williams.

After showing much promise on the field during his freshman year, the young Daniel High star certainly did not disappoint as a sophomore last fall. The big guy simply went on a tear, and tallied up some very impressive numbers on the stat sheets. "I had a pretty good season last fall," Williams said. "I had 87 tackles, and 9 tackles for loss. I also led the team in sacks with 7."

DeShawn's hard work didn't go unnoticed to say the least, as he's been receiving letters of interest from a couple of Pac-10 programs. "I've gotten letters of interest from UCLA and Oregon," the big man informed SCPrepNation.com."

Williams also informed us that he just recently had an ACC program to inquire about him. "North Carolina came by my school today," Williams said. "They talked to my coach, and told him that they were really interest in me. They also said that they are going to continue to keep up with me for the next two years."
