Lugoff-Elgin Star Talks Junior Day!

The Wake Forest Coaching Staff has been taking a long hard look at this 2010 Palmetto State sleeper. In fact, they just recently invited him up for their Annual Junior Day festivities on this past weekend. Needless to say, the South Carolina native gladly accepted the invitation, and took the 3 hour drive up to Winston Salem.

There were a number of prospects in Winston Salem, NC on this past weekend taking in the Junior Day festivities at Wake Forest University. One particular prospect that was on hand was Lugoff-Elgin High DB, Julian Baxter. "I went up to Wake Forest on this past Sunday for Junior Day," the Lugoff-Elgin star shared with SCPrepNation.com. "Everything went really well on the trip. I got a chance to tour the campus; stuff like that."

"I really like the area up there," Baxter continued. "It's a good area. I like the fact that everything is right there. You don't have to go real far for anything. I had a really nice time up there."

The Wake Forest Coaching Staff has been expressing interest in the 6-1, 180 pound DB for quite some time now. But the question is, how does the 2010 star "truly" feel about them? "I really like their program," The Lugoff-Elgin star said without hesitation. "Their program is really building up. I see a lot of good things in their program."

Baxter shared with SCPrepNation.com that he was one of 15 DBs on hand at Junior Day this past Sunday. He also informed us that they are only looking to sign 3 defensive backs for their 2010 recruiting class. However though, he is very confident about his chances to land an offer from the up and coming ACC program.

We will keep you posted!
