More Schools Interested In Justin Maxwell

Mid-majors are loving what they've seen so far of 2010 Aiken High SG Justin Maxwell. Now a few major programs including a Big East conference power are entering the picture and inside you'll find out just which colleges are actively recruiting the versatile prospect.

As AAU practices have already started interest continues to stir heavily for 2010 SG Justin Maxwell. The outstanding prospect from Aiken High has become a commodity for plenty of mid-major and some high majors to keep an eye on for on AAU circuit.

Recently more schools have entered the mix and shown their interest in the sweet shooting Maxwell. At 6'5 Maxwell has the size and versatility that many coaches like when recruiting players.

What schools have been inquiring about Justin lately? Schools like Marquette, Butler, William & Mary, Northeastern, Eastern Kentucky, Boston University, Texas Tech, and most recently Wichita State have all made serious inquiries requesting game film and other information in regards to Maxwell according to Sherrod Maxwell.

Maxwell has yet to set any dates for visits yet as most of the programs have invited him to check out their respective campuses but things could change in a hurry once the AAU season gets underway. Speaking of the AAU circuit Maxwell has not decided on a specific team yet for this upcoming season. Last year he ran with TOPPS Sports Black which had a successful season especially in the area regionals. A number of teams have shown interest in having Maxwell on their squad this Spring/Summer.

The elder Maxwell also talked about some of those other AAU teams that Maxwell may run with. "We've talked with the United Celtics out of Charlotte NC. We've also talked with the Carolina Raptors out of Greenville SC, and QCAA Force out of Charlotte is also highly interested." Maxwell was in fact in Charlotte this past weekend to work out with some of those programs.
