Marquis Sloan Profile

After introducing the rest of the country to 2010 Greenville High PG Marquis Sloan just a little over a week ago more schools have recently shown interest in the talented lead guard from upstate SC.

"James Madison and Princeton are also showing me interest now," Sloan told us. Already hearing from a number of regional and east coast programs things are on the rise for the 2010 point guard. Sloan has been practicing and working out with his AAU squad, the Carolina Celtics in recent weeks.

Sporting a 3.6 GPA in the classroom it's easy to see why top academic schools like Princeton, Wofford, and American are showing early interest in the 6'1 185 pound prospect.

Sloan says it's too early to name a leader exactly but he does want to hear more from Temple after the Owls made a trip to the NCAA tournament this year.
