SM: Travis what is your current height/weight?
TD: Right now I'm 6-1, 225 pounds.
SM: What position did you play on last season?
TD: Last year I primarily played defensive end. I weight around 240 pounds on last season though. Now that I'm 225, I could end up playing LB, which is probably where I'll end up playing in college.
SM: What were your stats on last season?
TD: Last year I had 84 tackles, 12 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles.
SM: Who are some of the schools that have been expressing interest in you as a prospect?
SM: Who would you say has been expressing the most interest in you thus far?
TD: It's hard to say. I've been getting letters from Clemson since my 10th grade year. And I've been talking to Maryland a good bit; Coach Al Seamonson. I've also been talking with one of the coaches from Wisconsin. So I really can't say. They all seem pretty even.
SM: Have you attended any camps this summer?
TD: No sir. But I'll be going up to Coastal Carolina on July 8th for their one day camp. I'm not sure where else I'll be going, but I plan to make it out to a few camps in July.
SM: What exactly are you looking for in a college program?
TD: I'm looking for a program that is going to prepare me for the future; a program that is going to prepare me for the job world if I don't make it to the pros. The NFL is not promised. That is why I'm looking for a school with a real good academic reputation. I take academics very seriously. I have a 3.7 GPA right now.
SM: Have you taken the SAT/ACT?
TD: Not yet, but I will be taking them soon. I've been studying very hard for them. I should do pretty well on them.
