Watching countless hours of film and attending multiple 7 on 7 matches and tournaments this offseason we've seen a great number of prospects. One 2011 standout who has really caught our eye is Riverside High CB D.J. Bolden.
Checking in at 5'8 160 pounds Bolden may not be the biggest cornerback out there but the youngster has two more years to grow before he'll head off to college. With 70+ tackles last season as a sophomore Bolden held his own against some of AAA's toughest teams and prospects. One highlight from his film that sticks out in our mind was his coverage and pass deflection against 6'5 class of 2009 TE Desmond Parks of Greer High who is now with the Florida Gators to prevent a touchdown in the endzone.
Watching his film and spending some time with the 2011 standout this past Friday there is no doubting his competitive nature and will to succeed. Already having camped with North Carolina Bolden has starting to make the rounds on the camp circuit. Stay tuned for an in-depth interview with D.J. Bolden right here with SCPrepNation.com, the leader in everything concerning South Carolina's top high school football and basketball prospects.
