Practice gears up next week for teams in South Carolina and we caught up with one 2011 prospect who has all the tools to be a high major target before his prep career ends. Pat Martin lines up at safety for head coach Mickey Crocker's J.L. Mann Patriots but he'll also see some time at linebacker as well.
Checking in at a ready 6'1 203 pounds Martin already has a monster frame and should continue to grow over the course of the next 2 seasons. In this exclusive interview with Martin he talks about recent camps at Michigan, Vanderbilt, and Clemson as well as offering up just who his early favorite is at this point.
Considering his size and tremendous speed (reports running consistently between 4.5 and 4.62) Martin very well could be another diamond in the rough for the 2011 class which is starting to shape up as quite the star studded bunch.
